Benita Ezeigbo Kibonge is a Litigation Associate Attorney at the firm's Seattle office. Drawing on her prior experience in defense litigation, Benita meticulously evaluates all dimensions of her clients' issues and devises practical and cost-effective solutions. Prior to joining the firm, she accumulated a broad range of experience at law firms in Florida, Iowa, India, and Nigeria, handling various practice areas, including business and commercial litigation, employment litigation, personal injury, insurance defense, and general defense litigation. Benita also has experience in intellectual property litigation and immigration law. She is committed to providing exceptional client service through clear communication, candor, and comprehensive legal analysis. Benita is currently licensed in Washington, D.C., and is pending admission in Washington state and Florida.

Benita earned her Bachelor's degree in Law and Psychology from Karnataka State Law University in Mangalore, India, graduating summa cum laude. She subsequently obtained a Master's degree in Intellectual Property and Biotechnology Law from Alliance University in Bangalore, India, also graduating summa cum laude. In 2018, she was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor by the Supreme Court of Nigeria. After relocating to the United States, Benita earned a Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Illinois and completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Iowa in December 2022. During her time at Iowa Law, she served on the board of the Intellectual Property Law Association and contributed as a writer for the Transnational and Contemporary Law Journal. She was actively involved in the Law Clinic and worked in various humanitarian legal roles, including with Sage and Enamel Foundation, Iowa Legal Aid, and the Ethnic Minorities of Burma Advocacy and Resource Centre (EMBARC).

Outside of work, Benita enjoys spending time with her husband, Audry, exploring new culinary recipes and binge-watching Netflix series.
