Associate Attorney

Catarina is an associate attorney with Scheer.Law PLLC's Seattle office. She is licensed to practice law in Washington and Alaska. Catarina has over 11 years of experience in the legal field and began her formal practice in 2020, focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.

Originally born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, Catarina spent her formative years in New York before relocating to the Pacific Northwest in 2016 to pursue her JD at Seattle University School of Law. During her time there, she expanded her legal expertise by studying International Business Law in Madrid and Hamburg, and gained valuable experience as a summer clerk for the Honorable Ronald B. Leighton at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. 

Outside of work, Catarina enjoys spending time with her family and cats, cooking traditional Portuguese dishes, and staying physically active. She is also an active participant in local city council meetings, engaging in issues that are important to her and affect her community.
