Kathryn P. Lucido earned her Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law with a concentration in Civil and Human Rights in 2021. Prior to law school, she received her Associate of Science in both Administration of Justice and Behavioral Science and Sociology from Los Medanos College. From there, she received a Bachelors of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies from Sonoma State University. She is currently licensed to practice in Washington State Courts, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, United States District Court for the District of Idaho, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

 

While obtaining her law degree, Ms. Lucido studied international law and mediation in Florence, Italy. After spending her 1L and 2L summers interning with the San Francisco Public Defender, Ms. Lucido spent her 3L year as a legal extern with the Federal Public Defenders Office in Spokane where she later went on to obtain a coveted fellowship attorney position with that office upon obtaining her license. In this role, Ms. Lucido represented individuals who had been indicted for federal felonies. Additionally, Ms. Lucido spent time working with the King County Department of Public Defense, where she represented and advised individuals experiencing mental health crises through their civil commitment proceedings.
