Yuriy attended the University of St Andrews where he received his undergraduate degree in Sustainable Development. During his time at St Andrews, he played on the men's tennis team and served on the executive committee of the UNICEF society.
After working for several law firms in Tacoma, WA, he decided to attend law school at Pace Law School in White Plains, NY. There, he competed in moot court competitions across the country and developed his excellent oral advocacy skills. After receiving his J.D. in 2020, Yuriy also earned his LLM in Environmental Law from Pace Law School and was the 2020-21 Land Use and Sustainable Development Graduate Fellow at the Pace Land Use Law Center.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing soccer.
